New DDoS attacks aimed at the network at IEM4 World Championship has once again kicked in, on the final day of the tournament.
It is not the first time we report about DDoS attacks, as these started already on the very first day of the tournament. Now it’s Saturday and we are down to the final day of the tournament, which will bring us the Grand Final between the defending champions fnatic and Na`Vi.
Shortly before the Grand Final in Quake Like would kick off, new DDoS attacks started hit the network, once again meaning the internet was not usable, also causing our HLTV on the third-place decider match, to disconnect and connect multiple times.
Right now there is no action on the stage, as the Quake Live Grand Final cannot start due to these attacks. This could also very well mean, should the attacks continue, that the Grand Final in Counter-Strike will be delayed.
